Nexus Media, an award-winning production company, is looking for a Supervising Line Producer to join their Studio and post-production department. The SP would be reporting to two the Executive Producers and the Producer/Director.  

They will supervise the logistical, financial, and production workflow under Managing Directors/EPs, Head of Production, and collaboration with the Production Manager. A group to manage project scope of work, which includes: Developing and overseeing the production budget, calendar, and assumptions on new and ongoing projects, in development.

Video Editors (Freelance)

Nexus Media is seeking a freelance Video Editor to help produce dynamic video content for e-commerce, branding, and more. We're looking for a skilled editor with a keen eye for detail and experience in motion graphic design, animation, and sound design. Video types will include social media content, product showcases, product demonstrations, and others.
 
This position will work out of our Princeton-area studio, or Northeast collaborates with our creative team, including producers, videographers, and creative director. And can perform some work remotely as well, but most will involve in-studio collaboration and production.
 
You'll operate as part of our Creative team to edit videos while ensuring the content adheres to brand or style guidelines. Please make sure to provide a link to your portfolio and hourly rate expectations.

Executive Assistant to President/Director (Part-time)

Nexus is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the President of the company. We are a non-scripted production company for documentary film and television and live and branded content. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about working in a non-scripted space. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in both a production company's business and creative ends. The position is based out of our East office. At least one year of experience working at a production company, Studio, management company, or agency is preferred.

Junior Editorial Assistant (Part Time)

Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining schedules, spreadsheets, files, mailing packages, and ordering books for the office and authors. Read and evaluate manuscripts and write reader reports. Attend editorial meetings, and offer creative input. Draft cover/flap and online copy, front matter, and Title Information sheets.

Traffic books through all stages of production, including tagging and formatting of manuscripts. Interface with the Library of Congress and submit copyright notices. Research special projects include, but are not limited to, market research and illustrator research. Assist in creating title-specific PowerPoint slides for list launch.

Illustrator (Freelance)

Nexus is looking to hire a talented illustrator to create high-quality artwork for our digital and print media publications. As an illustrator, you are required to work closely with our clients and marketing team to develop inspiring artwork that will attract our target audience. You will be responsible for formulating concepts and rendering draft illustrations from written words, models, sketched ideas, and from your imagination.

You should be able to draw, paint and work on digital software in various styles and mediums. Unlike artists, Illustrators have set deadlines and must always communicate with the company and clients on the overall progress and development of the artistic image. Ultimately, an illustrator is a creative individual who can turn concepts into marketable artistic photos.
