Who is Nexus
Web Print Graphic Design

Design is a quickly changing, ever more important, factor in our world. Just look around your room right now and notice how many things took a designer to craft. How many typefaces do you see? How many color palettes? How many graphics generated?

Nexus is the rare combination of classical, typography-driven, minimalist design with high-brown, challenge-the-lines, notions of fine arts. You won't get normal with us, you'll get exceptional.

"In this case it was the lethal combination of a (Orlando) Picasso painting and a bottle of wine. There are very few design rules maintained, here, other than the most important – good forgery!"

Isles
Web Design

The look for Isles came out of a complete rebranding effort that centered on the green road forward.  We worked with a number of their classical design elements, plus our new look, to create this page which is held together by a serious of map elements. One of our other goals for Isles, which was well achieved here, was easy access to information, news, and parts of the site. From this page you can access any part of the site within two-clicks, establishing Isles as the efficient, forward-thinking, and creative organization that are.

Another part of our rebranding campaign for Isles consisted of reworking their somewhat heavy logo into an iconic, impressive, and flexible image. Here was the result, a simple reduction of message and concept led to a more lasting visual impression for this great non-profit group.

Web Design

Children's Futures embarked on an extensive web & video project with Nexus Media in 2009. This site was established to show the video (link) Nexus had shot within the context of the child-like world we sought to create both in film and design. This design is all about child-like possibility, color, and narrative.

The Detective came to us as a request for a record cover. Rob took this one on, and started with a simple counter line drawing of a face through a window. He removed everything unnecessary from the core of the image, and then added a tasteful color palate to provide the image with some volume and impact.
